Globalisté Bilderbergu jsou znepokojeni populistickým povstáním, které se šíří v Evropě.      

Každoroční elitářská sešlost se má konat tento týden v Turíně, což je vhodné místo vzhledem k tomu, že Itálie si právě zvolila proti-migrační euroskeptickou vládu.

Podle oficiální internetové stránky skupiny bude tématem konverzace na letošním tajemném setkání „populismus v Evropě“.

Poté, co se nepodařilo do vlády dosadit bývalého technokrata MMF poté, co dočasně selhaly rozhovory s Hnutím pěti hvězd a Ligou, globalizátoři jsou nepochybně v panice kvůli možnosti, že by Itálie byla příkladem pro zbytek Evropy.

Nová populistická vláda v zemi slíbila, že deportuje 500 000 migrantů, opětovně prosadí lokalismus nad globalizačním a monopolním kapitalismem, bude monitorovat mešity a znovu oživí křesťanské dědictví země, všechny politiky, které přímo odporují neoliberálnímu globalizačnímu konsenzu, který Bilderberg zastupuje.

Seznam účastníků letošní konference Bilderberg, která začíná ve čtvrtek, byl také zveřejněn.

Tajná skupina má také diskutovat o „USA před polovičním obdobím“ a o „postpravdivém světě,“ což zahrnuje úsilí o boj s takzvanými „falešnými zprávami“.

Ačkoli mainstreamová média obvykle o Bilderbergu hovoří jako o pouhé „diskuzní konferenci“ bez skutečné moci, existují nespočetné příklady toho, že skupina prosazuje svůj vliv na světové záležitosti.

V roce 2010 bývalý generální tajemník NATO a člen Bilderbergu Willy Claes přiznal, že účastníci Bilderbergu jsou pověřeni provádět rozhodnutí, která jsou formulována během výroční konference mocných obchodníků. V takovém případě by to porušovalo zákony v mnoha zemích, jelikož zakazují politikům, aby byli tajně ovlivňováni zahraničními činiteli.

V roce 2009 se předseda představenstva Bilderbergu Étienne Davignon dokonce chlubil tím, že jednotná měna euro byla myšlenkou skupiny Bilderberg.
